Mercy Bags: Acts of Kindness in Action
Create Mercy Bags filled with weekly kindness tasks to inspire ongoing compassion and service. Each participant will decorate a small bag and fill it with slips of paper listing simple acts of mercy-such as writing a note to a friend, donating food, or visiting someone who is lonely. Participants will take one task from their bag each week, carrying out that act as a personal expression of love and care. This project encourages reflection, gratitude, and the joyful practice of mercy throughout the year, reminding us that small actions can make a big difference.
Thanksgiving and Christmas Placemats: Sharing Holiday Joy with Seniors
Brighten the holiday season for older adults served through local senior meal sites by creating colorful placemats. Participants will design cheerful Thanksgiving and Christmas themes.
