Please spread the word that the Good Neighbor Program is happy to take clean, gently used or new clothing, sizes infant through adult. We are always in need of new underwear and socks and in the winter we also ask for jackets, snow pants, boots, hats, scarves, mittens and gloves. Off season items gladly accepted. We will just keep them until needed.
We know these times have and continue to pose many challenges for us all. We have missed our ministry of providing clothing to children in our community through our Good Neighbor Program and look forward to resuming this ministry. Due to the ongoing concern about the Covid19 virus, we are working to resume operations with some changes that are necessary to help ensure everyone's safety. We are working on changes to our donation, processing, and referral guidelines and will update them as necessary.
We appreciate your patience as we continue to work on a reopening plan that will prioritize everyone's health and well-being while working to help provide clothing to children who need them.

If you are cleaning closets or see good clearance sales we always take shorts, t-shirts, tank tops, bathing suits and other summer items; Winter jackets, snow pants, boots, hats and gloves in all children's sizes. We are blessed to have plenty of storage space so we can save these items for the next season.

Round one of backpacks packed with supplies and ready to distribute! Thank you Christ Child Society for your generosity in donating everything for this effort. Thank you Davina and Dasha for your hard work packing all of the backpacks this weekend. Prayers for a safe and happy return to school for all of the kids in the next couple of weeks.

THE GOOD NEIGHBOR PROGRAM...is always in need of gently worn or new children's clothing. We accept all sizes, newborn to adult, in good or new condition. Please consider donating now to the Works of Mercy Initiative’s Good Neighbor Program. All clothing donations may be dropped off at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church on Tuesdays from 10AM to 1PM or during office hours at any of our participating parishes. For more information, call 347-0871 or email [email protected]. Monetary donations are also also needed to help us to purchase new underwear, socks and sneakers when our inventory is low.
